BSS, Uttorpurbo sign MoU on PM’s ten special initiatives reporting

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Thursday between Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) and the daily Uttorpurbo, published from Sylhet, on the reporting of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s ten special initiatives.
BSS Managing Director and Chief Editor Abul Kalam Azad and the daily Uttorpurbo Chief Editor Aziz Ahmed Selim signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides.
A signing ceremony and Focus group discussion was held at the deputy commissioner’s office where Sylhet Deputy Commissioner M Kazi Emdadul Islam was present as the chief guest.
BSS Special Correspondent and Focal Point Officer of PM’s ten special initiatives Mahfuza Jasmine was present as the BSS representative.
Aziz Ahmed Selim, chief editor of the daily Uttorpurbo was presided over the signing ceremony and Shafiul Alam Nadel, editor and publisher of the newspaper, Tapas Das Purakayastha, President of the Sylhet Zilla Press Club were present as special guest at the meeting.
At the function, speakers said Bangladesh has made good progress in different fields of development as the government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is successfully implementing various effective programmes.
PM’s ten special initiatives will make a valuable contribution to build an economically advanced country.
Mahfuza Jasmine conducted the programme and highlighted objectives of the Prime Minister’s 10 Special Initiatives.
