Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal number three due to formation of a low there.

“The low over North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh moved northwesterly direction and intensified into a well-marked low over northwest bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh, west Bengal & Odisha. It is likely to intensify further and move in a northwesterly direction. Under its influence steep pressure gradient persists over North Bay and adjoining area,” said a Met office weather bulletin here today.
