Online Desk : Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said she is only focusing on the welfare of the country and she is not concerned about writing or publishing any autobiography right now.

She said: “I don’t have any wish to write or publish my biography at this moment, I am also not concerned about the matter at all. Now my main focus is the country’s welfare and I am working for Bangladesh.”

The PM made the remarks while replying to a query of the Daily Kalerkantho Editor Imdadul Haq Milan.

Asked whether she (PM) will publish any autobiography, the premier further said: “I am not concerned about whether anyone writes about me or remembers me after my death. What will I do by writing about myself? Rather, I am working hard for the country’s betterment.”

Remembering her father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, she said: “My father always wanted to change the condition of the country’s mass people. He wanted to build a better Bangladesh where all people can live peacefully.”

“People like me, who lost everything, cannot focus on anything or achieve the goals. But, my father’s dream keeps me active and I am working to build a better Bangladesh as per my father’s desire,” she added.
