Attackers of journos to be brought to justice: IGP

Online Desk : Those who carried out attacks on some journalists during the elections to Dhaka city corporations will be brought to justice, said Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Mohammad Javed Patwari on Sunday.

The IGP came up with the remarks while talking to reporters after attending a programme of Rajshahi Police Academy.

“All the attackers will be brought to justice after identifying them,” he said.

Three journalists were injured in separate attacks while covering the Dhaka North and South city elections on Saturday.
