On Friday night, Uttara’s Regent Hospital informed them that they were also infected with coronavirus. “Our reports reveal that we have tested positive. Though we have stayed at home, now we are going to the hospital,” said Khokon’s wife.
She said their blood samples were taken on the day Khokon had died. The results of the reports came tonight (Friday night).
At night on April 28, Dainik Shomoyer Alo newspaper’s City Editor Humayun Kabir Khokon died at Regent Hospital. He had been suffering from tooth-ache along with fever, cough and shortness of breath. As his condition deteriorated, he was admitted to the Regent Hospital where he died later on. Later, his blood samples were collected and tested. It was found that Khokon was infected with coronavirus.
