Lt Col Uzzal Ahmed, commander of the field regiment artillery, handed over the seeds to farmers.
“We are distributing seeds among farmers as per the Prime Minister’s instruction to cultivate every inch of the land during this crisis period. The farmers will be able to cultivate vegetables on their barren lands surrounding their houses,” said Uzzal.
Sadar upazila Agriculture officer Mashiful Islam and captain Shariful Islam, among others, were present in the programme.
