FF donates allowance money to PM’s fund

Online Desk : A freedom fighter in Sadar upazila of Joypurhat district has donated three months’ allowance to Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF).
Azizur Rahman handed over Tk 36,000 to Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Miltan Chadra Roy on Monday afternoon.

The 64-year-old freedom fighter is the resident of Sahaebpara area in district town. He participated in guerrilla warfare against the Pakistani army during the Liberation War in 1971 under sector no: 7.

Miltan Chandra said responding to the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to come forward for the help of poor people amid the current coronavirus crisis, the veteran freedom fighter donated his three months’ allowance to PMNRF.
