Country reports 26 deaths, 1,812 cases

Online Desk : Bangladesh on Monday recorded 26 deaths from COVID-19 in last 24 hours, pushing the tally to 4,759. Of them, 22 were male and four were female.
Meanwhile, 1,812 more infection cases were reported after testing 14,216 samples.

Now, the total positive cases stood at 3,39,332.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the matter through a press release signed by Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General of DGHS, on Monday afternoon.

Recovery number rose to 2,43,155 as 2,512 more patients recovered in the past 24 hours. Bangladesh reported its first coronavirus cases on March 8 and the first death on March 18.
