Foreign Ministry sources said, Jiang Pu, president of Anhui Zhifei is scheduled to visit Dhaka on Saturday (January 23). During the visit, he will discuss with various level authorities of the government.
It is learnt that the company has put a proposal in this regard. If they get permission then they will produce vaccine here in Bangladesh. The company also wants to start vaccine trial in the country.
The company wants to give this vaccine as a gift on the occasion of Mujib Year. A large part of the vaccine is also planned to be given to the poor people of the country.
Anhui Zhifei has already conducted trial of the vaccine in Malaysia, Indonesia, Uzbekistan, China and Ecuador.
