The arrested is Md Kayem, 42, a resident of Nayalabhanga Goalpara village under the upazila.
RAB-5 Chapainawabganj Camp official said acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in Kamlakantapur Madinapara village under Nayalabhanga union of the upazila and arrested the man along with the drugs.
The elite force handed him over to Shibganj Police Station and a case was filed with the police station against him under Narcotics Control Act, the official added.
