Online desk : Detective Branch of Police (DB) personnel in a drive arrested three alleged drug peddlers along with 280 pieces of Yaba pills from Bhairab upazila in Kishoreganj district on Sunday night.
The arrested are Ariful Islam, 31, Md Nurul Huda, 30, both are residents of Ghorakanda village and Md Mosharraf, 45, of Jagannathpur village of the upazila.
Detective Branch of Bhairab Police officer-in-charge Samsur Rahman said acting on a tip-off, a team of the force conducted a raid in Bhairabpur area of the municiplaity and arrested the trio along with the drugs.
A case was filed with Bhairab Model Police Station against them under Narcotics Control Act and legal steps would be taken in this regard, the OC added.
