Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said Al Said has extended his heartiest congratulations to Bangladesh Premier and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on her party’s absolute victory in the 11th parliamentary elections.
“The Sultan of Oman has sent a message to the prime minister greeting her, Bangladesh Awami League and the people of Bangladesh on securing her party’s landslide victory in December 30 national polls,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS today.
In the message, he said, Qaboos bin Said Al Said also wished success of the prime minister and continued peace, progress and prosperity of Bangladesh.
The press secretary said Sudanese Prime Minister Mutaz Musa Abdalla has extended his heartiest congratulations to Bangladesh Premier and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on her party’s landslide victory in the 11th parliamentary elections.
“It gives me a great honour to extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for your party’s landslide victory in the December 30 elections,” the Sudanese premier said in a congratulatory message sent to Sheikh Hasina.
In the message, the press secretary said, the Sudanese prime minister assured his country’s continued commitment to promoting and reinforcing the excellent relations between the two countries and peoples.
Besides, Secretary General of D-8 (Developing-8) Dato Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari and the Inter Press Service North America (IPS Noram) president have extended their heartfelt congratulations to Bangladesh Premier and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on her party’s landslide victory in the 11th parliamentary elections.
