India is keen to cooperate with Bangladesh in further improving its growing aviation and tourism sector. Acting High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Dr Adarsh Swaika said this during a call on State Minister for Aviation and Tourism M Mahbub Ali at the latter’s secretariat office here.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interests. Ali said the relations between Bangladesh and India are deep rooted and the airlines of both the countries can contribute to further increasing the people-to-people contacts of the two neighbouring nations.
He hoped that the aviation and tourism sector will be one of the major tools to further strengthen the existing excellent friendly relations between the two nations.
The Indian envoy said the bilateral relations between Delhi and Dhaka reached a new height in the last decade and India is keen to extend its all cooperation to Bangladesh’s aviation and tourism sector. He invited the state minister to visit India.
