Police, in a drive, has arrested six activists of Jamaat-e-Islami, including a woman, from Tularampur village of Sadar upazila in the district.
The arrestees are- Firoza Khanom 40, Abdur Rauf Molla 65, Shaidul Islam 38, Shohag Hossain Vhuiyan 32, Abdus Sobhan Molla 30 and Alamgir Hossain 40.
On a tip-off, the police arrested them along with jihadi books and bomb-making materials on Friday morning.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Narail Sadar Police Station Mohammad Elius Hossain told this at a press conference at the police station today.
A case was filed with the police station in this connection.
