Besides this, members of Railway Nirapatta Bahini (RNB) also arrested three employees of local depot of Jamuna Oil Company Limited in this connection.
The arrested are Jamuna Oil depot in-charge Amzad Hossain and its employee Mukul Ali and lorry helper Ilias Hossain.
Safiqur Rahman, chief electrical engineer of the west zone of Bangladesh Railway, adding Senior Sub Assistant Engineer Abul Hassan has been suspended as he is the in-charge of the tank.According RNB members they caught all the accused red-handed while they were thieving around 5,000 liter of diesel from the storage tank out of 10,000 liter at noon.
RNB inspector Ahsan Habib said a case has been filed against three people and another Ashraful managed to escape.
He further said investigation will be on in this case. RNB also seized the lorry used to theft the oil.
