Directorate General of Health Services additional director general Nasima Sultana came up with the disclosure at the daily bulletin on COVID-19 situation.
Four more patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, raising the number of people who have already made recovery to 112, she said.
Nasima said all the four people died from the virus in the past 24 hours were male from Dhaka.
A total of 3,686 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, of them, 503 were diagnosed with the coronavirus infections.

Meanwhile, the global death toll from coronavirus has, so far, reached 191,185 and 2,733,599 cases have been reported around the world as of Friday afternoon.
The deadly virus was first reported in China in December last year, according to worldometer.
