Online Desk : A Doctor’s Safety Chamber has been opened at Bagerhat Sadar Hospiatl with the initiative of Bagerhat-2 MP Sheikh Tonmoy.
Deputy Commissioner Md Mamunur Rashid formally inaguarted the chamber on Tuesday noon.
Bagerhat Superintendent of Police Pankaj Chandra Roy, civil surgeon Dr AKM Humayun Kabir, municipal mayor Khan Habibur Rahman, Sadar upazila parishad chairman Sarder Nasir Uddin, vice chairman Rizia Parveen, deputy civil surgeon Dr Pulok Debnath and residential medical officer Dr Belfar Hossain, among others, were present in the occasion.
The chamber has been opened to ensure safety of doctors, nurses and other health workers from getting infected by the deadly coronavirus.
