ONline Desk : Police have attested three persons in a case filed with Rajshahi’s Mohonpur police over violating a college student with a promise of marriage.
The arrested persons were sent to jail on Thursday following a court order.
Those who sent to jail are: main accused Noimuddin alias Nayan,20, his father Nahir Uddin, of Kaligram Madhyapara in Mohonpur upazila, and Nayan’s anty Fazela Begum.
according to the case statement, Nayan raped a girl of the same village giving her a promise of marriage at her house on April 21 last.
As the girl put pressure on him for marriage, Nayan took her to his house.
Going to Nayan’s house, the girl saw him married.
Later, Nayan’s father and aunty beat up the girl and drove her out of the house. They also threatened her.
The girl filed a case on April 30. Police, later, sent the girl to hospital for medical test. Police arrested the accused on Wednesdai night.
