753 get bail through virtual courts in Bogura

Online desk : Some 753 people in Bogura district have secured bail in last five days through virtual courts.District Session Court, 12 courts under Chief Judicial Court and the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal conducted the hearing of 1171 of cases.

The courts granted bail of 753 people of the total number.

The district jailer Shariful Islam confirmed the matter adding that they have been serving in prison for minor offences.

However, the district jail has capacity to contain 710 prisoners but some 2,200 were there. Earlier, the home ministry released 99 convicts and now 753 people got bail that made the jail a little bit comfortable.
