Online desk : Police detained three people along with Yaba tablets at Phulbari upazila of Kurigram district on Friday night.
Detained persons are Obaidul Hossain Bahadur, 39, Dudul Mia, 23, and Musa Mia, 22. They all are residents of Nawdanga Paschim Fulmati village under Nawdanga union in the upazila.
On information, a police team conducted a drive in the area and nabbed them. The law enforcers also recovered 52 pieces Yaba tablets from their possessions.
Confirming the matter, Phulbari Police Station officer in-charge Rajib Kumer Roy said a case was filed against them under the Narcotics Control Act.However, they were sent to jail on Saturday morning following a court order.
