Online desk : A Dhaka court on Sunday placed photojournalist Shafiqul Islam Kajol on a two-day remand in a case filed under the Digital Security Act.
The virtual court of Metropolitan Magistrate Debdash Chandra Adhikary passed the order after a hearing through videoconferencing.
Earlier on June 23, Kajol was shown arrested in a case filed against him by Awami League lawmaker Saifuzzaman Shikhor from Magura-1.
On June 24, the virtual court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Dheeman Chandra Mondol rejected Kajol’s bail petition.
The case against Kajol was filed with Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station on March 9.
