Online Desk : Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two men along with 3 lakh Yaba tablets and firearms from Teknaf upazila in Cox’s Bazar district early Friday.
The detainees are Md Shafiq, 25, and Abdul Karim, 22, were the residents of Balukhali area under the upazila.
RAB-15 Assistant Director (Media) and Assistant Superintendent of Police Abdullah Mohammad Sheikh Sadi confirmed the matter.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in Balukhali area at about 5.00am and detained the duo with Yaba tablets and arms, said the official.However, three others accused managed to flee the scene during the drive.A case in this connection is under process.
