Fake doctor fined Tk 1.5 lakh in Thakurgaon

Online desk : Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) seized a huge amount of fake medicines and fined a fake doctor at Haripur upazila in Thakurgaon district on Saturday afternoon.

A team of RAB-8 conducted a drive at village Nandagaon in the afternoon and seized huge quantity of expired and fake medicines made by Abdul Hakim.

A mobile court, led by executive magistrate Md Abdullah Al Noman Sarkar, fined Abdul Hakim Tk 1.5 lakh. The doctor had been conducting medical practices without any institutional certificates. Later, the seized medicine were set on fire.
