Dr Sabrina, wife of JKG CEO Ariful Chowdhury, was called in the office of the DMP Deputy Commissioner (Tejgaon Division) around 1:15pm for questioning over her involvement with the coronavirus test scam.
She was arrested after the interrogation, confirmed Tejgaon Division DC Harun-or-Rashid.
Earlier he had said,“Dr Sabrina was called for questioning. She is being interrogated for further investigation. She will be shown arrested if her involvement with the scam is found.”
On June 23, Tejgaon police have arrested six persons including JKG chief executive officer Ariful Chowdhury for issuing fake coronavirus test reports without carrying out any test.
