Online Desk : Detective Branch (DB) of police in separate drives detained two men including an associate teacher along with Phensedyl syrup at Phulbari upazila in Kurigram district on Monday.
The arrested were Manu Mia, 44, an assistant teacher of Anantapur Government Primary School, and Aminul Islam, 30, of Anantapur Boroitala village in the upazila.
Police said Manu Mia was detained with five bottles of Phensedyl syrup and Aminul Islam with four bottles while they also recovered six bottles Phensedyl syrup from the house of one Ziaur Rahman, of the village, but, Ziaur managed to flee the place.
Phulbari Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Rajib Kumar Rai said drug cases were filed against the three.
