RAB raids Uttara building with Shahed

Online Desk : The Rapid Action Battalion is conducting raids on a flat of a building Uttara’s sector- 11 in the capital. The elite force began the drive along with Regent Group chairman Mohammad Shahed alias Shahed Karim around 12:30pm. Shahed was seen wearing a bulletproof jacket and a helmet during the drive.

The RAb members entered the building ‘CHL Baitul Ihsan’ at house 62, road 20 around 12:36pm. Earlier, executive magistrate Sarwar Alam entered the house around 12:15pm. A RAB source said the drive was conducted at flat 4(A) of the building.

After ending the raid around 12:50pm, the elite force again took Shahed to its headquarters.

RAB Legal and Media Wing informed that elaborate information about Shahed and his misdeeds will be given at a press conference at 3pm.

A team of the elite force encircled the building since morning. Shahed was arrested from Satkhira border early morning on Wednesday.
