Online desk : Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Friday arrested a drug trader with phensidyl syrups from Kawkhali upazila of Pirojpur district.
The arrested was Md Rafiqul Islam Nayan, 40, a resident of Jhalakathi district.
Acting on information that a few people were selling drugs at Rocket Ghat area, the elite force conducted a drive in Rocket Ghat area at about 9.30am and arrested Rafiqul with 50 bottles of phensidyl syrups.
A case has been filed in this connection with Kawkhali Police Station.
