Online Desk ; Rapid Action Battalion (ACC) has detained a fake physician and his assistant from Sarishabari upazila of Jamalpur on Wednesday.
The accused doctor used to identify himself as captain (retd) Dr Jalal Ahmed,40.
The elite force in a drive detained Jalal from in front of Pingna Girls’ High School. Meanwhile, the upazila administration has sealed off Jalal Diagnostic Centre, owned by Jalal.
Pathological equipment, medicines, fake NID card, prescription, seal and leaflets were also seized during the drive.
Jamalpur RAB-4 Company Commander ASP MM Sabuj Rana told the Daily Observer that the fake doctor used army logo in the prescription and deceived people.
