Online desk ; A Dhaka court has put JKG Health Care Chairman Dr. Sabrina Arif Chowdhury on a two-day remand in a case filed over collecting two national identity cards (NID) providing fake information.
Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain passed the order on Thursday.
Earlier on Tuesday, Badda Police Station SI Mominul Islam, also the investigation officer of the case, filed a petition to Dhaka CMM Court seeking a five-day remand for Dr Sabrina.
The IO, in the remand petition, said, “During the initial investigation, Sabrina’s link with the incident was found. It is necessary to glean vital information about the incident after taking her into custody.
Election officer Mohammad Momin Miah filed the case with Badda Police Station on August 30 against Dr Sabrina for having two National Identity cards (NIDs).
