Detained persons are Azizur Rahman, 34, from Noakhali distriuct and Fayez Ahmed, 50, from Cumilla.
On information that the two drug traders have been selling Phensedyl syrup smuggled from India in the capital, a RAB team conducted a drive in front of Sohrab Service Station in Dakshin Kolyanpur area and detained them.
The elite force members also recovered 300 bottles of Phensedyl syrup from their possessions.
Confirming the matter, RAB-4 official ASP Ziaur Rahman Chowdhury said the RAB, later, handed over him to the police station after filing a case under the Narcotics Control Act.
