6 killed in Jhenidah truck-Nasimon collision

Online desk : At least six construction workers were killed in a collision between a truck and a three-wheeler (locally known as Alamsadhu) in Shailakupa upazila of Jhenidah district on Wednesday evening.

Jhenidah Fire Service and Civil Defence deputy director Shamimul Islam said it was learned that the deceased were the residents of Sadar upazila in Jhenidah.

Local sources and police said a cement-laden truck coming from opposite direction hit the three-wheeler in Madandanga area around 6 pm that left six people dead.

On information, Jhenidah and Shoilakupa Fire Service and Civil Defences went to the spot and rushed the injured to the hospital.
