5th phase municipal polls scheduled for Feb 28

Online Desk ; The fifth phase elections to 31 municipalities will be held on February 28. EC Senior Secretary Md Alamgir announced the election schedule at Agargaon at Election Commission Bhaban on Tuesday.

He said voting will be held through EVM.

According to the schedule, the last date for submitting nomination papers is February 2.

The returning officers will scrutinise nomination papers on February 4 while the last date for withdrawal of candidacy is February 11 and the symbol will be allocated on February 12.

Voting will continue from 8am till 4pm without any break.
