Satkhira District and Sessions Judge Sheikh Mofizur framed the charges on Thursday afternoon.
The court also set February 23 for deposition of witnesses.
Shahed was produced before the court.
After the hearing, he was taken to Satkhira jail. He is the lone accused in two cases.
On July 15, 2020, RAB arrested Shahed, while he was fleeing to India wearing a burqa, from the border area. A pistol and three rounds of ammunition were recovered from him.
Later, RAB official Nazrul Islam filed a case with Debhata Police Station on the same day against Shahed Karim and Bachchu Majhi. Later, Shahed Karim was made the lone accused in the case.
