Online desk ; Despite surrender to police, a drug trader and another man along with drugs were detained from Taltali upazila of Barguna district on Monday.
Police raided Khottarchar area around 5pm and detained drug trader Nabin,35, and Sohraf,45. Six Yaba tablets and 100 grams of hemp were also recovered from their possessions.
Police said Nabin had engaged in drug trading. Despite surrender in 2020, Nabin was carrying out his drug trading, said police.
They will be produced before the court, said Taltali police OC M Qamruzzaman Mia.
