Quoting locals, police said Nurul Amin’s family had a conflict with their neighbours Abdul Majid and Hasan Ali over the ownership of some lands.
On Tuesday afternoon, Majid and Ali alongwith their supporters attacked Nurul Amin when he was erected a structure on the disputed land at Kalikabari village.
The attack led to a clash that left Nurul critically injured. He died at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital in the evening.
S case has been lodged with Dhobaura Police Station, said OC Abul Kalam Azad. He said one accused was arrested.
