A bus of ‘National Travels’ collided with Dhaka-bound ‘Siam Paribahan’ coming from opposite side on the Bonpara-Hatikumrul highway beside Patwari Filling Station at about 11:30 am, said Bonpara Highway Police Station OC Moshiur Rahman.
Six dead on the spot and 20 others injured.
Fire Service and Civil Defence members sent the injured to different local clinics and hospitals.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
