No threats centring Pahela Baishakh, Eid, says IGP

Online desk : There was no security threat centring the celebration of Pahela Baishakh and Eid, said Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun.

He also mentioned that highest security measures will be taken during Mangal Shobhajatr.

He told these while speaking with reporters after inspecting security measures at Bashundhara City Shopping Complex in the capital on Monday.

The IGP said all-out security measures have taken at all markets and shopping malls ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr and Pahela Baishakh.

All units of police, RAB APBn are working their level best to ensure security during Iftar, Tarabi prayer, Sehri time and ease traffic jam on the streets.
